Information You Will Need For Your Loan

In order to process your loan, we will need documentation to verify the information you provide on your Mortgage Application. In most instances, we will require the original document, not a photocopy. We will also need a copy of your purchase contract or agreement for the property you plan to purchase with the funds. This may not be available at the time of your application and can be provided at a later date. Here is a list of documents and information that we may request from you to complete your home loan.

Purchases
  • Most recent paycheck stub
  • Last 2 years W2 forms for all employers
  • If self-employed, please bring complete tax returns including all schedules.
  • If you have been in your current job less than two years, bring contact information on your former employers.
  • Account statements covering the most recent 90 day period for any accounts in which you have assests.
(checking, savings, IRA, 401k, Brokerage accounts, money market, etc.)
  • Copy of your purchase contract if available
  • If currently renting, please provide contact information for landlord and 12 months of cancelled rent checks or bank statements
  • If currently purchasing a home, bring contact information for your current mortgage holder
  • Homeowners insurance contact information
Refinances
  • Most recent paycheck stub
  • 2001 & 2002 W2 forms for all employers
  • If self-employed, please bring complete tax returns including all schedules
  • If you have been on your current job less than two years, bring contact information for your former employers
  • Contact information for your current mortgage holder

In many cases, some of these documents will not be required. In some cases, additional documents and proof of information may be requested. We value our customers and will try to limit the amount of burden placed on you for your loan. However, we must meet requirements of underwriters as well as the regulations associated with certain loans we make.
